Adult Ministries - Service Groups

These groups offer opportunities to SHOW compassion to the poor both within and outside the walls of River Oaks.

CIA(Compassion In Action)

Serve local Christian agencies, such as Church Community Services (CCS), Faith Mission, Guidance Ministries (GM - God's Kitchen), RETA, etc. Serve on a rotational basis.

FBI(Fixers, Builders and Instructors)

Assist people in need both within and outside the River Oaks body using construction experience and abilities.

The HUGS Project

Provide cooling ties (HUGS) and care packages to soldiers serving our country in the blistering heat of the Middle Eastern dessert. Cut, sew, and fill the HUGS and prepare them for shipping. Serve twice a month.

ROCC Health Team

Offer "basic" healthcare education and services for those within the River Oaks body, including monthly blood pressure checks.
