Next Move

(Tuesday, October 24 at 7:00pm in Heavenly Grounds Café)
Whether its celebrating through baptism, connecting in a small group, contributing through serving, or committing through membership, we want to challenge and encourage you to find out what your next move is at River Oaks. Our Next Move class takes place every other month and is where you can get more information about what your next move might be. Sign up here if you are planning to attend.

Bus Storage Request

The Deacons are investigating opportunities for parking the church bus in an enclosed facility, storage area, or barn. If you have such an area, or know of one we could use, please contact the church office at

Construction Project Funding

The construction of our storage facility, north of the playground, is now underway and should be under a roof in a few weeks. In addition, due to persistent leaks, a new roof over the main Lobby will be installed soon. The Deacon Board wants to assure the body that both projects are fully-funded with money we already have in reserve. Neither project effects our current operating budget in any way.

Congratulations to Joe and Emily Wegener on the birth of their baby boy, Barrett, born on October 12.

The HUGS Project is in need of a couple of people to serve as backup to complete mailing labels on their shipping days. This opportunity serves approximately three hours twice a month. Please contact Sondra Resen at Praises that Martin’s Supermarkets gave HUGS the opportunity to collect items at all 8 stores in Elkhart County. They called it “Shop for a Soldier Day” and was a great success.
