Student Ministries

Student Ministries:

High School Ministry (HSM) & Middle School Ministry (MSM) – All 6th-12th grade students meet on Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm in the Student Ministry wing. These nights include hanging out, food, games, worship a short challenge and small groups. Bring a friend and hope to see you there!

Children's Ministries

Children’s Ministries:

KidsWorld Sunday momrning offers care and learning for infants through 5th grade during both of our Sunday morning worship services. 4th and 5th graders are encouraged to attend elementary worship at 10:30am.

A copy of the proposed budget has been emailed to those who are in our database and copies are available in the Church Office today. We urge all members and non-members to review before voting August 20-27.

Adult Ministry Small Group Leaders Meeting

Our next small group leader meeting will be TONIGHT, August 13 at 7pm in the Heavenly Grounds Café. We will be introducing a new study resource and giving a brief tutorial on how to effectively use it with your groups. Snacks and coffee will be provided. Please contact Dustin Eby with any questions.

Next Move Class

Want to learn more about River Oaks, get connected, join a small group, get baptized, start serving or become a member? If you are interested in learning the answers to these questions and more, please mark your calendars to attend the upcoming Next Move class on Wednesday, August 30 at 7:00pm at River Oaks to see what your Next Move is. Women’s Bible Study

The MarksMen group will meet this Thursday, August 17, from 6:30-8:00pm at Midwest Gun & Range in Elkhart. Contact Todd Lozier at 875.0401 for details.

Young Adult Cookout

All young adults and their families are invited to join us on Saturday, August 19 at 4:00pm for a cookout. We will have food, yard games and fellowship at the River Oaks Pavilion. Food and drinks will be provided, please bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on.

Stephen Ministry Continued Care & Compassion

River Oaks’ Stephen Ministry is starting a Continuing Care and Compassion ministry. The CCC will be looking for contact information of people who would enjoy an encouraging visit from one of our church members. This new extension of the Stephen Ministry will begin shortly. Stop by the Stephen Ministry desk in the Lobby for more information.

Family Ministry Kick-Off

Student Ministries Dunes Trip TAKE 2

Students, join us for our rescheduled trip to the Dunes Beach August 13! We will leave River Oaks at 11:45am and return at 6:00pm. Sign up here and be sure to bring money for a fast food lunch.

Play Date at ROCC Park

Home during the day on Fridays and looking for a reason to get out of the house? Want to connect with other families? Need a place for kids to run off some of that energy? Whatever your reason, we invite you to join us at ROCC Park every Friday, from May 19 to September 24 starting at 10:30am. Come to play for a bit or bring a picnic lunch and stay for awhile. Mark your calendars and meet us there (weather permitting)!
