Please… if we can be of any help to you in your marriage, let us know! Here is the link to my message from last June I mentioned this week: Marriage Wise
A Biblical Love Quiz:
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Your Daily Assignment….Ask yourself:
Am I being patient and kind toward my spouse?
Am I practicing a genuine love that is not jealous, boastful, proud or rude?
Am I demanding my own way? If so, how could I approach this differently?
Am I irritable? If so, what’s that about?
Is it related to my spouse or other things going on?
Let your spouse know what’s going on.
Have I released the past?
Have I forgiven the past?
Have I asked for forgiveness for my errors of the past?
What’s it going to take to move forward?
Are we celebrating moments of truth? Heart check: “Do I hurt or feel smug” when my spouse experiences pain, hurt or injury?
Am I daily choosing love?
Am I committed to loving my spouse and not giving up?
If divorce and/or separation is not an option, how can we move through difficult times?
What will it take?
What can I do to help make that happen?
Have I been completely honest in my answers to these questions?
