On Tuesday evening, August 12, the River Oaks Elders will be praying for the church body. If you have specific requests for which you would like them to pray, email those requests by Wednesday, August 6 to email@example.com and write “prayer requests for Elders” in the subject line.
Lost and Found
Have you lost your Bible, reading glasses or coffee mug? If so, please stop by the Church Office and check the lost and found basket. There are a variety of items and anything left behind will be donated Monday, August 11.
Board Gamers of Michiana
If you enjoy interesting and challenging games, stop by this Friday, August 8, from 6:30pm until midnight in Room 301. This board gaming group meets the 2nd Friday (6:30pm-midnight) and the last Saturday (noon-midnight) of the month. For details, contact Michael Hovan at 875-5447.
Calling crafters of all types to an evening of creativity and conversation on Thursday, July 10, from 6:30-8:30pm, at Jessica Alger’s home. Not crafty, but in need of a night out? Make-and-take cards will be available for a small fee. For more information, contact Jessica at 214-2102.

Women’s ministry fall kick-off: “Matters of the Heart” is coming to River Oaks on Thursday, August 28 from 6:30-9:00pm. This event is free of charge to all who attend. Throughout the current Wisdom series, we have been challenged to read through the entire book of Proverbs twice. The heat is on and the “HUGS” are cooling our troops! We are in need of tuna packets, peanut butter, gum, bar soap and baby wipes. We also collect the Sunday newspaper comics and magazines. If the kids get bored, have them create handmade cards for the soldiers – those are always a BIG HIT! Thank you for all you do to support us!
