Although Sunday at River Oaks was a bit different from the norm, it was a pleasant surprise for those in attendance. Many of the River Oaks’ children led us through drama and worship—“Wonderfully Made”…and, they did a phenomenal job! With humor, upbeat music and a fun storyline, we all were reminded that in the body of Christ, God has given gifts to all of us. We shouldn’t use them to get attention for ourselves, and we don’t need to envy somebody else’s gifts, but we need to use the ones we’ve been given, and work together to serve others, glorify God, and point people to Jesus.
Thank you to all the kids who participated in “Let’s Rock!” Thank you too to Beth Bender, Ginger Craigo and Rachel Campagnoli for all the time, organization and for sharing your heart and passion!
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. 1 Cor. 12:7
