Haiti ‘12 Update #3

Today we went to a graduation and it was so much fun!  All the people were so energetic and happy.  My favorite part was this little girl who danced!  She was so amazing and she was like six.  Anyways, also it’s hot.

Hey mom! I love you!

    Hi Amber,
Tommy wondered if I had sent a note to you; I didn’t know that was even possible, so had someone show me that you can reply by clicking on these little blue boxes in the corner of the blog thing you wrote.
I’ve been reading everything that everyone is writing, and was especially happy to see your note the first day and know you got there OK. It’s a bit different from Elkhart, right?
Everything’s going OK here. Grandma and Grandpa are doing fine. The weather finally cooled off yesterday, but still no rain in sight and things look browner and more dead than ever. Robby lost another job, so I’m back to pushing him to go job hunting (you know THAT routine!!) All the animals are fine, including the stray cat. Right now he’s sitting outside the window and meowing, wanting to get in. I stopped by McDonald’s today and checked your schedule, and you don’t work the Saturday after you get back. I think that’s good–you’ll need some time to unwind and adjust back to everything here, even after being gone such a short time.
Hope your last 3 days are good ones. Love, MOM.
